we repair + make reparations where need be in actively pursuing collective liberation.

Shifa is the Arabic word for healing. Shifa is the name of the hospital in Gaza where so many Palestinians lost their lives to the violent, imperialist continued colonization of those who illegally occupy their homeland.

we hold the vision: from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

we believe the “plantcestors” will reconnect us to our ancestors and to ourselves. in this deep healing of soul and body, we remember that our liberation and wellness is braided into that of all others. we heal ourselves while healing as a global family. the former is incomplete without the latter.

Shifa Apothecary is lovingly founded by Durga, a lebanese/indigenous mama seeking ways to support communal wellbeing. Durga’s ancestral roots run deep throughout the land of Cana’an (Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria), Turtle Island (Choctaw lands), and Ireland. 20% of all sales go directly to the Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance (mecaforpeace.org) to bring urgent, critical aid to the children of Palestine and Lebanon; and mutual aid for families of both lands as organized by River Rose Remembrance. we stand in absolute solidarity with our Palestinian and Lebanese relatives.
